Default Just my luck - loan car whilst in for TSB.

Was due to be given a Civic Type R as a loan car next week. Just had a call from Tunbridge Wells Honda - one of the salesman wrote it off at the weekend!

He is fine, car is not. Asked for an NSX, but they don't have one ( )

Marc, go for an Integra/Accord R or CRX VTEC if you can. Prelude 2.2 vtec is nice, too !

Best of luck, Ian - I did that and the Service Manager just laughed at me. Said it was a nice try, but they didn't have any in their courtesy fleet and that I'd have to make do with the 1.4 (old style) Civic like everyone else.

Dropped my car off this morning and swapped it for the Civic. Ugh! I'd forgotten what it's like to have no power under foot. And what a horrible sloppy gearbox!

What's the deal? I've got a CTR parked outside my office at the moment instead of my S. Guess you've just got to ask them nicely!

A rhetorical question, surely, Daniel?!

They offered me a Jazz as they had no more Civic's available (there was a problem with the one I was supposed to have). I laughed and asked whether they had a spare CTR kicking about. 10 mins later they were taking the price off one, and I was driving off in it!
