Coppers are people and some people are idiots, it's that simple.

If you've got an incorrectly spaced number plate I wouldn't draw any more attention to yourself. You've had some of your time wasted, but you could be paying a fine or whatever it is you get for an iffy numberplate.

It's annoying but is it worth wasting any more time over?

Nope - I had a lovely drive in - and am having a jolly nice day thanks !! - I love this weather so I don't really give a toss.

He's the grumpy one. I can't be bothered complaining, its not worth the effort and life's too short.

And this is the state of todays police, old women are being mugged and beaten up, little chavs terrorising whole communities, peadophile's on the loose and uninsured drivers every where and the plod go and pick on you because you were nodding your head. Sad, very Sad.....

Yep! Thats about it Krazy!

Oh and BTW the to$$er I mentioned in my post pulled me over just off the Stourbridge ring road!

I don't as a rule think its worth complaining especially if you have to drive alot in the coppers area - he is only going to be waiting for you next time!

Just smile nod and rant on here it works for me!! ;-)

Probably not if you put things in perspective

Who needs perspective on a 2D site? We need budgie to make the site black and white only, would suit it more

They don't need much, if any reason, to stop you I believe (I was stopped recently on my bike for a chat about bikesafe - I was wearing a dayglo vest, so it may have been a biker fashion crime ), but it gives them a chance to check out anything else they might have found dodgy.

Plenty more serious crimes are detected or prevented by seemingly trivial stops. If it had turned out that they had stopped a scrote who had stolen your S, but only initially on a trivial motoring offence, would you be unhappy?
