Just done the stupidest thing

Gee, until I opened the thread, I thought that Nick may have put down a deposit on a porker !
Nick, how exactly did you happen to ignore your speed while testing a radar / laser / speed camera detection unit & driving at gatsos ?

Nick,
Guess who else may be in line for a ticket whilst testing the new kit - in my case the thing was bleeping at just about every traffic light and near any electronic door openers so I got down to fiddling with it (All, Motorway, City), the thing had an epo and I thought it was me pressing buttons adhock that caused it, but oh no hidden away outside a chip shop was the plod van.
Think I was doing about 37 in a 30 area - that will teach me to ignore it.
Can't wait to get hold of the jammer from Pete as I can't afford any more points.
By the way I read some where that there is a 1 in 3 chance on average that the fixed cameras aren't loaded with film. I have also been double flashed before and nothing came of it.
I was flashed in Germany once and got the sumons in the post - decided to ignore it to see if they would follow it up, 3 months later I phoned up and was informed that the case had been dropped cause they were unable to trace the driver.
I'll definately not be signing the ticket if I get one.

Thanks for all the support & suggestions, guys.
Chris, my sympathies. It's surprising how these gizmos distract you while you're trying to figure them out, so you can do something daft. They may ultimately lead to a statistical increase in safety, but for the first drive, you'd be safer with your eyes shut
Also, I blame Honda for making a car where 50 mph feels like you're stationary
