Just done the stupidest thing
I went out to test the Snooper S6-R neo, looking for GATSOs.
It works fine, but I forgot to check my speed (everything seems slow in the S2K) and got double-flashed.

ooops don't know if this is of relevance. Its about a motorist who identified himself on the form but didn't sign it, therefore rendering it inadmissable as evidence. The court could not legally identify him and he was found not guilty.
All the best.

Without the signature the Court had no powers to prosecute. If I remember my law course, as a 'precedent' has been set in the previous case the Court has to follow suit, if they don't you would have a good case for appeal.
There maybe some lawyers out there who could advise, but I think it would be worth a try,

I can't comment on the Road Traffic Act (definitely NOT my area of expertise!) but the decision of one magistrates court will not bind another since the first court is not "superior" to the other i.e. the decision of the Court of Appeal would take precedence over a later Magistrates Court decision. Having said that, I gave up litigation as a trainee and therefore Mark T will be better able to advise on this one.
PS I've been double flashed three times on the A406 out of Wembley on one night a couple of years ago - no ticket ever arrived. Cross your fingers!!

Keep your fingers crossed, it could be one of those which isn't actually 'armed' but flashes to scare the crap out of you! It's surprising how soon you can become deaf to something which beeps at every threat, which is why I love the Valentine, it doesn't recognize BS threats!
