Default Just bought an s2000!

Picked up my 52 Nurby today, part exchanging my Clio 182 Cup.

What a difference.

The 182 had quite a "burst" delivery above 5k+ rpm but nothing as pronounced as VTEC, and as the speeds get higher it continues to pull like an absolute train. What a beast.

I think its going to be quite a long process for me adjusting from a hot hatch FWD to a powerful RWD. Its damp today and already I've found the back end trying to "play" so to speak. It's definatley going to be a case of being very gentle when its wet, but am I right in thinking I can be more relaxed in the dry? The car has Bridgestone Potenza 02's on the rear and some Michelin's on the front. I note these Potenza's have a reputation in the wet

Still trying to break the seat in so I can get comfortable, im 6'2 and while there is plenty of leg room with the seat fully back it could do with being a bit "taller". The exhaust noise is great, sorta bubbles whilst the engine noise @ 6k+ is fantastic. I was worried about lack of mid range torque but seems fine to me.

Everything else seems superb, looking forward to joining you guys

Congratulations and welcome to the fold....

Oh and watch out for the rear end it can/will bite. Get a track/airfield day/big car park!

Welcome

I came to the S2000 from a VX220, but previously I had a 172 and then a 182.

Massively different driving style needed compared to the 1*2s.

Yep dont ever get too confident with the back. When it kicks out in a straight line in VTEC you will know about it!
