Jerky car
I went to look at a 2004 honda S2000 and when driving in traffic the car was very jerky. The man said it was a common thing with the S2000. Is that true?
Thanks.
Thanks.

I think part of it is getting used to your particular car's clutch and throttle response. I found I kangaroo'd a lot for the first couple of weeks. The car now drives really smoothly - I haven't done any work on it so I can only assume it was down to driving technique in my case.

Yeah sounds like heat soak. Basically if you look at the air intake, it sits right on top of the radiator. In traffic, it pulls the air directly above the radiator in to the engine, and the air flow sensor doesn't like it.
All you have to do to get rid is rev it a little when you pull away.

I had this for the first week or so when I first bought mine, since then it's been fine. I think I just changed my driving style, It kangeroos badly when my mum drives it as well!
