She has tried with HUK - they are a bunch of inept clowns run by an even more inept clown.

I would say it's more like customer disservice.

Maybe a face to face meeting with some one at HUK would get some results?

I'm sure Bokkie has tried with HUK, but there is trying and then there is the law and their obligations.

I'm not saying that it is easy or pleasant, I know I've been in a similar situation, but it is possible to reject that car and that is what I would do in Bokkie's situation.

A bloody refund would be more appropriate

Holy cow.

Are they making Hondas in China now?
Just the Jazz as far as I'm aware?

Bokkie , what can any of us say to comfort you, I'd have thrown the toys out of the pram by now and be insufferable to all around me. When I had gearbox issues with my previous S I got a replacement box, a quicker and easier job for all involved, 7 day turnaround.
As for the way forward I have no advice, has any one got the Honda CEO's adress? maybe he can intervene, "SuperGaxxy" can only do so much, and seems to be on the case, as always.

I agree entirely with that but having dealt with a few customer service operations over the years, this one is far from slick. There are three hands and neither knows what the other is doing.

I think once you bring legals into the matter, you're operating over and above what customer service was meant to provide.

It's a shame they seem unable to own their problem.

Mines gone in today for the seat replacement and investigation of an engine/transmission whine at 3500 rpm under load. Apart from that, 23,000 miles and no other problems...............yet!

Wonder if it's the same noise as mine Al?

I need to speak to Gaxxy and get mine sorted for a service over the Christmas period and noise investigation.

Let me know what they say about your noise.

Steve!

Any beach in mind?

FWIW the car currently resides at Bristol Honda...it's going nowhere till HUK find a 3rd gear synchroniser
Weston Super Mare is close!
Berrow
Brean Sands

The Severn Estuary has the largest tidal range, plenty enough to hide a Honda
