Glad to hear you have got your car back after it's bottom end has been fixed - painful !!

Are you going to join us on the New Forest run to the Rose and Thistle, I can recommend the steak and kidney pud as you know!

Regarding running in, vary the speeds without stressing the engine and gradually increase the revs (but you already know this) Mind you 5000 rpm in 6th is around 90mph so not a bad speed for running in!

Of course, it's not a 60mph limit, it's a 60k revs limit.

I thought it didn't seem right.

The worlds first turbine powered S.

Trish, Glad to see you still love the car. Hope that Gas also feels the same when Snowy comes home. The upside of it happening so early in the life of the car is that you now have the rest of the warranty period to regain that confidence that everything is OK.

Gaxy, If it wasn't for the distance I would be taking my car to Bristol for its services.

To be honest given the service Trish and Gas have had, it would be worth a saturdays advance booking for a service drive and a friday night in B&B in Bristol or Bath

With Jorge no longer in residence at Bushey - and given what their mechanics said to me on August 21st....

All my S work will be done by the Cribbs Causeway guys.
( I found out they are NSX certified too... hmm.. maybe my next set of wheels ).

So pleased that you have your beautiful car back Bokkie. Have really felt your separation anxiety over the past weeks.

that Gaspode will soon be re-united with his. Dread to think what he has been polishing in the meantime.

MQ....why do you think Gaxxy asked for the return of Snowy 2 (the Accord) before irreparable damage was done to the paintwork? Gas has now got the Bristol Bullet which is NOT white and so bears no resemblance to Snowy - a distinct attempt to break that OCD habit!

For the record, I'm running Jenson in as if from new...the whole varied gears, braking etc as per (dare I say it )

But the joy of having my car back far outweighs the pains of having to pootle until Jenson's run in.

As far as Jenson's service requirements are concerned, there's only one place he'll be going: to Kevin (or Daryl in his absence) at Bristol Honda Cribbs Causeway.
