If your engine number falls between the 2, there is a possibility that you may join our sorry ranks. We sincerely hope this is not the case.
What about the guys who have a new S2000 and only do 2000 miles in the waranty period?

Doesn't bear thinking about, they should recall.

Who wants to be picking up a used S2000 in three years time and then appearing on here as a new owner and asking for a new engine?

They will never recall Steve, esp based on 2 or 3 failures (they may know of more)

IF they find a worrying common failure mode then they may do, but in these hard times i'd bet a blind eye will be turned and they will hope people run out of warranty.

What a day it's been - I wanted to share the joy and the photos with you all.

I've had the pleasure of driving the fabulous Bristol Bullet, compliments of Bristol Honda, for the past 9 days and thought it was high time you were all introduced:

Jenson was oh-so-carefully hand-delivered by Gaxxy and Hudsonbay to a rendezvous point along the M4

Where I handed over the delightful Bristol Bullet to Gaspode, who kept asking "Where's Snowy?" (Snowy is awaiting delivery of her short engine by HUK.)

Gaspode & I thought we'd do a Honda UK photoshoot as a thank you to Honda UK for carrying out all repairs under warranty. This is Jenson parked up outside the Honda UK Head Office in Langley:

We even managed to snap a picture of Jenson outside the Honda Institute:

I am as pleased as punch to have my car back - despite having to drive it home at a sedate 60mph along the M25! The engine is smooth as silk, the car sounds "lovely" and it's a pleasure to be behind the wheel once again.

I can't wait till Jenson is run in and back ing!

A MASSIVE thank you to the folks at Bristol Honda Cribbs Causeway for all that they have done for Jenson & I over the past 2 weeks. They have been absolutely fantastic.

Special mention must go to Gaxxy the Fabulous , Kevin the Maestro of the S2000 engine and of course the main man Warwick, the Dealer Principal

My thoughts now turn to Gaspode and Snowy - I hope by this time next week to see pictures of Scott reunited with his S! Lets hope your engine arrives soonest!

Did they said they would let you know what went wrong?

Ta MB

Yes, Honda UK (Jo) has agreed to ring Gaspode & I in 2½ weeks with feedback on the technicians' findings in Japan...we'll post up as soon as we hear anything...unless of course Honda UK would like to post up themselves?

EDIT: Both engines are being sent to Japan for further investigation.
