JDM Imports in the South East ???
Just curious more then anything if anyone could recommend a good place to get a JDM import in the South East.
I thought it may be quite an interesting thought to bring in a 2.2 litre S2k if Hondata ever do a remap which ups the rev limit on the 8k redline for the 2.2.
Anyone heard of any 2.2's coming in yet ?
Cheers

Despite what I had originally understood about the 2.2 litre engine being an option in Japan, I got shouted down on the S2000 Talk board recently when I suggested that there was a choice in the Japanese market - the Yanks were insistent that it's 2.0 litre only there.
If that's the case, it follows that you're not going to find any 2.2 litre JDM imports, Ryan.
Not sure who's right - I was only repeating what I had read on here. One of the Yanks who posted claimed to be working in Japan and so was in a position to speak with a greater degree of knowledge than the rest of us.

I think it must have been here as well that I heard the Japs got the choice of 2.0 or 2.2.
Just thought it might be good to be different if they are never going to bring it over here.
I stand by my words from when I sold my S2k. The MGF is the most boring top down motoring. I need another sports car before the summer is out and Tasha is nearly convinced. Another S2k or similar may be on the cards very shortly so watch this space.
I love the CTR to pieces despite having one major fault which is getting sorted under warranty tomorrow (a whole new steering rack ) but having a roof which doesn't go down is the only let down
