JDM imports
i have an opportunity to import jdm vehicles. thought about four or five "S"s but want to gauge interest first. would you buy an import? how much cheaper (if any cheaper) should jdm be over UK spec? any feed back gratefully received
regards Steve.
PS i am thinking about cars built around year 2000.

If I were you I would go for colours/ specs that aren't available over here, white, purple, BBS alloys etc. That way you can aim at a market of people who want something a little different.

I would also avoid the satnav in the dash as it doesn't work over here and the vairable rate steering system (VGS) as I guess it would be expensive to fix if it went wrong.

I've got one and saved a fortune on the initial purchase price. I knew its entire history though (all 2k miles of it) but the Japs do seem to look after their cars and change them regularly.

White with red interior and the (lighter) JDM BBS alloys.
