Any reason why you are going through the ESVA route? Have they closed the loophole for a disabled vehicle that I used where you just need to stick a steering wheel knob on?

This is what I was advised to do by the Vehicle Inspector at the SVA Centre.

I believe for the ESVA you have to prove type approval (A Bimta registered garage could help with this) or you have to stick the car through the SVA centre tests which can be costly (

so what are the 2 different engine types you can get from japan then?
is there a big difference?
