Sorry if I'm being dumb, but why can't I just cut my own holes in the exsisting rear panels instead of ordering from Lucid

[B]Simmo, what is your opinion of rear speakers - good / bad ? Can you feel them etc. I was dissappoint with mine, and am looking to upgrade speakers. I was probably going to get Infinity all round.

You can. I ordered the Lucid for 2 reasons:
1. I would fk up cutting my own holes
2. I want to put old panels back in when i come to sell the s

?

Try it and see.

It will be expensive if there isn't

I did not want to take this risk.

thanks for all the replies

so just to clarrify

P62's will need the basket cutting, but I could use the adaptor instead I presume?
P62's have a detachable tweater so I can use these in OEM tweater position (or leave it and have 4 tweaters!)
P42's will fit no problems

when connecting the front speakers, did you use the Honda speaker harness, I presume the Lucid Door speaker harness

is the same thing and I should order this at the same time as ordering the panels and door speaker adaptors?

cheers guys. thanks for the help.

AE - where exactly did you get yours installed? I can't find a local place that has done as S2000

after browsing the lucid web site, I must say that I am extremely tempted by this kenwood system, rear speakers and 3 way door speakers.

Kenwood package

if I ordered this package will it fit a UK spec car?
