Yes it does. However, I doubt it was the ECU that caused the failure. A lot fo the AJR cars in the states use the ECU and have been doing so for a while with no dire consequences.

Looks like it could have been cracked retainers or some sort of over rev.

Title is a bit misleading.... it was a standard engine and energetic was/is thinking about replacing it with a Js Racing engine!
