i dont see why ford pay that much when they own aston martin, why not stick him in a jag or a Range rover or a volvo as they own big parts of those brands also.

Because it will make all the turbo diesel brigade think they're James Bond and ditch their Vectra's, A4's, Passats etc. Then they'll drive like even bigger pricks, thinking they're dodging the Russians on the way home from work.
