Jack smiths

I had mind done nearly 2 yrs ago by ray. Its never leaked since and its outside 24-7. He knows how to fix the rubbers once and for all. Mine were leaky before, never since. Worth £285 just in the labour...

Glass has always been smaller than the early plastic screens. And Jack Smith's roof has the glass sat in a 'pocket' rather than stuck to the outside of the roof, so it looks smaller too.

Got mine done in November and I'd recommend it especially for the low outlay, you just need to factor in an extra 2 hours to wrap up the convo at the end of the job!
It looks a hundred times better than the knackered and tearing 12yr old original vinyl roof and yes, he does do a good job at sealing the rubber sills. Only minor bad points I had were the replacement rear screen is going to need me to repair one of the elements, it's also being a right pig to clean. I don't know what's on it. You can avoid all this of course by sending on your own in if its in good condition.
The other thing I noticed was the area of fabric just below the window was ever so slightly slack, but this is fighting up and becoming completely flush as time goes on so honestly I don't really care... especially for £290 as to anyone else's eye who's not a faffy S2000 owner like us it looks fantastic and at that price I'd happily replace it again in five years.
Good luck.

I always had it in my head that I would go there if my roof needed to be replaced, but seeing those images I think my ocd would annoy me enough to spend the extra.
Hopefully mine will last as was replaced by Honda a few years ago and gets treated and conditioned regularly.

It's your money, mine went on a JS roof, it's been on for three or four years now, no leaks, no problems and my car sits outside all weathers 24/7. I don't understand the debate, it's like people can't believe something is so cheap so something has to be wrong with it, the same mugs will pay £600+ pound for a soft-top ... more fool them I say.
