Wink J racing ECU Question

hi there

I have finished to install the 2.2L short block and the ECU. The car runs perfectly but the immobilizer light is on all the time.

I am running the J racing ECU

Something from my memory about this Juan...

If oyur car had a Honda OEM immbiliser on it then I think the new ECU can cause problems. I think a lot of people live with the light on.

Sure there was a fix though.

Not much help there!

An easy fix if it bothers you that much is just remove the bulb that illuminates the immobiliser from the dash.

the car runs, but the light is worrying me, because I have a 2.2L block.

I used a USDM ECU to re-write it by J's Racing

Juan,

I'm interested in this setup, are you running the J's 2.2 stroker or the USDM stroker?

J's have tried to address the immobilser issue but still havem't got it perfect! I think you are going to have to live with the light or maybe get a new key cut without the transponder chip in it - that should get rid of the light.
