Smile Irritating Noise

Anyone have this problem - suddenly started getting this noise which sounds like something stuck in the fan except its there even whn the A/c isn't blowing.

Its not very loud but its bloody irritating!

Anyone got any suggestions?

You sure it's coming from the fan? Maybe it IS something stuck in there.

Sure it's not from the engine bay?

Can you be more descriptive?

Post a picture of the noise - easier to diagnose on a forum then

Come to the Herts meet and get someone to listen to it

Helpful as usual

Does it stop if you turn the fan off

Where's the noise coming from? It's not something caught in the air vent system is it?

If it's air fan dependant then a dry leaf in the vent is my guess

Even if the fan isnt on, the fan will turn with the air being pushed through by your velocity

Try closing the vents with the selector on dash vents only. Does it go then!?

It's not the wife in the passenger seat telling you to slow down?
