iPod
Just completed my in-car iPod install and it's brilliant.
Bought myself an Alpine headunit (9812RR), harness and IPod adaptor (KCA-420i)and finally managed to get it all installed today. Far, far better than I was expecting and dead easy to install too.
I've got the iPod adaptor mounted behind the passenger seat and the cable to the iPod running into the storage box between the seats. No wires or loose cables, everything is very neat and discreet. Brilliant
I've now got 4Gb of music in the car, more room in the boot since I junked the CD changer and much better sound than with the crappy stock set-up (I've also got some Pioneer coaxial speekers in the doors).
If anyone is considering doing the same I would recommend it. Well worth the dosh IMO.

Andy. Where've you put the Ipod?
In the glovebox between the seats?

Had to drill a hole in the trim inside the storage box to push the lead through but that was by far the most complicated part. The iPod is mounted using the elastic strap on the inside of the door.
