It's not a setup I would recommend due to price but everything is very solid, is of high quality, doesn't leave marks on the screen and can be easily put away if needed when parking in dodgy areas. It works very well for me and I'm very happy with it.
Do you have a photo of your setup mate?

cheers

a guy at work got one of those super sticky universal brackets - clingo type thing.
i'm hugely impressed with the holding force. i was sceptical, but now a convert now i know the sticking force.
definately suitable in the S and no way would it fall off unless you had a serious impact.

he's only had it a week or so, so not sure about long term usage, but it's washable with water once it looses its tackyness.

I've been reading up on a thing called a Dash Genie, is that what you're on about?

that sorta thing, yeah.
i forget the exact brand he bought, but it relied on a gel pad to adhere the phone to
the one he bought was a clam-shell type device, so ultra portable, but it had this gel pad on both surfaces, so you could stick it to the dash, desk, monitor, anywhere where there is a flat surface.

iphone car mounts anyone got one in their S ?

Hi guys, I', looking for a really good really sturdy car mount for my iPhone 4. I needs to have a suction cup as I'm going to be using it to mount the device in an aircraft.

Anyone got a decent car mount solution for their iPhone 4?
