I had the problem, Got rid of the rivots and put a small nut and bolt in there, No problems Remember to use Locktight!!

I thought it was the weight of the bungs that caused the tips to come loose, thats why I never fit them.

Bungs are for wimps

Just re rivet but you have to go up one size of rivet and make sure you use the correct length.

I used bolts in the end with crush/grip washers and a dab of JB weld on each one to stop them working loose. I'd used bigger rivets before and they just worked loose over time, eventually I'd drilled the holes too big from getting out the old rivets so opted for bolts instead. Hope this helps

Yer i did it to mine its the only way!!

Just used Lock tight(goto B&Q ask for it)

(puts a glue around screws, u can get it in semi-perm or fully perm)
