Default Invidia tailpipes rattling? any known solutions?

Hi guys,
My tailpipes on the invidia have come loose again, ive tried re-rivetting them but it eventually gives way and im back to square one! I thought of tack welding them on but then am I right in saying the backboxes are stainless steel and the tips are titanium? So this would need to be tig welded is that right?
I was also thinking of some liquid metal or some description, just a little in the right place oughta do it but dont want it going past its temp limit.

Any comments would be greatly appreciated

yeah people drill them then use nut and bolt. You can get small ones - seems to be only option other than riviting from a lot of posts I have read

I fixed mine with small bolts with allenkey heads (still look rivet-like) with the nut inside the pipe.. (Drilled out the existing rivets)!

.... and a bugger of a job it is too.

If possible, I'd personally try a few matchstick slivers first.

Hi there,

I've just developed this exact problem, trawled round Yellow Pages and no-one seems to want to undertake the job! Anyone know somewhere in the South-East that would be willing to re-rivet my exhaust?

Cheers, Matt
