"Need", Paul? How come? Is there something wrong with it?

Mark..you've reminded me...I was gonna post about my exhaust....couple of weekends ago I took the wheels off to clean and managed to get a good look at the exhaust.....to my surprise despite the fact the car is rarely used in the wet.......infact at the moment rarely used at all....the exhaust was in a similar state to yours Mark...

I hate seeing it with rust all over it..........I like my car to be as perfect as poss so I am looking to replace with something that will retain some looks

Also the HKS is not loud enough.....I need more volume and I notice the Invidia just has the rear cans as opposed to the extra box the HKS has

I really need to find out where to get one from and if it's affordable

Ah, right - if looks are the primary concern, fair enough. Although as long as you keep the cans clean (which isn't hard, if you make the effort to do it regularly - something I never bothered to do ), they'll stay nice and shiny. Since you can't actually see the underside, I'm not sure why the fact that it's dirty and rusty is an issue

I just wondered whether you were concerned about the state of repair of it. If that was the case, I was simply going to suggest you look at Rob's before and after photos of my exhaust - it scrubbed up nicely and looked good as new, as well as not having any sign at all of rust or damage.

HKS isn't loud enough?! Your neighbours are going to love you........

Oh, and there have been a couple of people on the FS&W board recently looking to buy used HKS or similar after-market exhausts. Finding a buyer for it shouldn't be hard, if you do decide to change. On both occasions when mine was advertised on there, it sold within a couple of hours of me posting it.
