Intermittent Brake Lights
As i was driving home thought i would get my own back on le tool driving up my backside by sitting on my lovely bright brake lights................only to my horror discovering there was nowt in the the line of brightness.
Upon arriving home have found that brake lights light up very intermittently.....
Any clues as to what it maybe?
Is it a well known prob?
And where is the fuse for the lights is it the Stop in the engine fuse box??.

lighting/comfort fuses are usually in the interior fuse box.
unsure what fuse, but if there intermittent then its not going to be a fuse problem.
my guess will be the brake switch itself (top of the brake pedal). bad connection/contact inside and causing the lights to not come on 100% of the time.
way to test = remove the brake pedal switch connector, and shove a piece of jump wire across the 2 pins. see if brake lights come on.
