Default An Interesting Encounter

Hi all I read Vixens encounter a week or so about close misses and Ive got a whammy!! On my way to work last week I was driving down my usual road at 50 or so (in a 60) behind a yukky green Fiesta when an alien Peugeot came from a side turning as if from nowhere and T boned the car in front of me, left side and rolled this sucker 3 times in a pirouette before it came to rest in the adjacent ditch....upside down! A load of other drivers ran over to see if the guy was ok but he was trapped so we broke the side window, hauled him luckily was ok.

But the girl (I guess 19 or 20)who T boned the bloke was so distraught bawling her eyes out had to be taken to hospital......not a mark on her though!. However An interesting point was that it had been raining earlier so the road was clearly wet and she had her stereo so loud I thought the rubber seals on her car doors and windows were going to pop!! ..........going to work will never be the same again!!

I would have left him in there if there was no flames, could have been back injuries etc?

Sounds like a very near miss - reminds me of the final destination movie with the car pile up, that was done so well.

You got the right flag there? in the US or this side of the atlantic?

I would agree.

Unless the vehicle is on fire, you shouldn't move someone from a car that has rolled over.

Sounds like a nasty accident though.

Normally I would agree but fuel was pooring out of the fuel tank. If the car caught fire it would have been BBQ'd driver! but when we rescued the bloke it turned out the car ran on Diesel. But on the spare of the moment you have to make a snap decision and the driver said that he was ok so it was a pretty fair bet he was.
