Insurance Trivia...is Direct Line actually Tesco's?
...because I have just been entering information which has brought the premiums out exactly, to the penny, even after making minor adjustments to the policy quotes on-line.
Just thought it might be of interest to anyone looking at all these insurance issues which have been springing up on the board recently.

Both Direct Line and Tesco use eactly the same back end (RDBMS) for thier insurance quotes but with different front ends.
I think that Tesco's get a commission for selling the RBS products like the insurance - all Tesco financial products are actually RBS products.

Barclays ?? Egg?? selling RBS products. I can understand NatWest as they are now owned by RBS.
I could get probably get exact details at work tomorrow as I am currently working for RBS IT Services. I was at Coutts but they were owned by NatWest and now we are all one big hap^H^H^H family.
