Just received my insurance renewal and they have asked for

It is..broker is "Lifesure" and the insurer is a combination of AON and RSA. Its a "classic collectors policy " whatever that is but there are no restrictions.

Interestingly enough I could get no further reductions by offering to cap the mileage.

Depends whether you want to run the risk of them avoiding the policy if you ever have to claim on it, Jamie..... Pointless risk, IMO.

FWIW I have been assured that my 3 points(now 3 years old) have been dropped in my renewal. Even though they may stay on your license for 4 years (usual nonsensical bullsh*t) they should not impact your premium.

This is one of the reasons I got a reduction. My 3 points are 3 years and 1 month old.
