Have you tried e suer and elephant? Also money supermarket.com have a similar price comparrison thing to confused.com

I have gt, but it is sometimes a pain in the arse when you get a couple of clear days and you havnt got anyone to help you get it off. Did take it off on my own once, never again though! You will still be happy if you dont get a GT.

As for insurance, try elephant, cheapest by a mile for me, 24yrs with 4yrs NCB
