Default insurance for new wheels

My insurance company have just charged me an extra 116 quid for insuring different wheels and this is only for 3 months as the policy expires middle of June !!!

Talk about a total rip off anyway I have told them to poke it basically for the renewal. Anyone know anyone good who doesnt charge stupid fees for mods?

cheers

That is nasty! I'm insured through Quoteline Direct, can't remember which company they placed me with last year, but they didn't charge me anything for my PRM.

For this year, told them about the wheels, they've now switched me to Chaucer (?) who have made no extra charge for having 2 mods. Anything more though, and I think it would be difficult to avoid a charge.

Try Dorset Insurance, under the Honda revolutions scheme - if your a Revs Member. They are mod and trackday friendly. OR I think Frizell (Liverpool Victoria) are mod friendly too.

How can they justify that premium? Theres no performance enhancement, i suppose it is nickability?
