You want to be put back to the position you were in i.e. alignment within tollerance of Honda spec, the accident has caused you to be out of spec. If the only way to fix your knocked out alignment is new bushes then so be it.

It's kinda like if you have a torn up roof and you break your rear window (glass). You get a new roof because thats the only way to fix the problem. You could call that betterment, but you still get it.
