Just requested a quote online, had the call back and I was asked what my renewal quote from my existing insurer is. When I said I had yet to receive it, I was told that A Plan would call back in a week or so when I knew and quote me then. So when he calls next week, I'll take

This gets even better, just rang Flux and they have agreed to beat Sky and re-quote at

That's something that really annoys me about insurance companies. I had a similar thing. Bell sent me my renewal through. I got a much better quote and rang them to stop them taking my automatic renewal premium. They then offered me a much cheaper deal,

Lots of issues with claim payouts. At least with the biggies like Admiral they dont bat an eyelid, simply pay out and the work gets done.

That's my fear with these "high street" outfits. Cheap up front but loads of hassle if you need to claim.

Think I'll stay with the big boys and beat the price down.
