Yeah its one of the things I'm weighing up in my hunt for a car

For me parked off road in CV postcode (Im 37 full no claims , no points and a 2nd named driver) - I'm with direct line at the mo - heres the quotes for my shortlist cars.

350Z = 500
Elise = 800
Exige = 800
S2000 = 980
Boxster S = 600

Admittedly the Lotus & Porker required a tracker but even so S2000 has a hell of a hit compared to other cars. Bmw M5 was only 1k

oh, i'm a low risk 'a' . mind you the nearest neighbour is over half a mile away, and we have our own postcode.

I'm feeling cornered by my insurance, I've renewed twice with them now (Adrian Flux) but I'm never satisfied with the service! The problem is they are consistently the cheapest by a few hundred quid. Why can they do it and no-one else can?!

Funny thing is I have 9 years NCB, I only have an exhaust and an CAI but most won't insure me. If they do it is always for around 1500 squid.
