Thats funny, I'm 27, and pay just over £650 to insure an S2000 with Sky insurance. 5 years NCB. Reading post code. hmmm.

Try Flux Direct and Keith Michaels for a quote. Bell/Admiral might suprise you too.

Got my multi-car renewal through from Admiral during the week and I was shocked to calculate it was up by 45%.

So i used gocompare to get some comparative quotes and I was surprised to find that the cheapest for 2 of the 3 cars was Admiral, who were 3rd cheapest on the 3rd car...so i phoned them to say I wouldn't be renewing as I wasn't prepared to pay a 43 increase...and they matched the 3 online premiums on the spot so my actual increase was just over 6%

It pays to shop around!

Just bought an 02 S2000, 25 years old, one accident 4 years ago at fault, no points, 3 years NCB and a Reading postcode, most were quoting £2400! I couldn't believe it, after a few tweaks on price comparison websites I managed to get it down to £1380, and then after a short swift phonecall to Admiral I managed to swap my old policy over to the S2K until the end of Oct for £998.

I would definatly recommend shopping around for quotes and then giving admiral a call, a great service, UK call centers and willing to negotiate on price

I have my S2000 insured as a "future classic" - with Classic Line. They will cover any sort of use on this policy including business etc.

I have used them for a few years with a number of cars and always found them excellent.

Also with this type of policy NCB is irrelevant.

Good luck!

Platinum White 2008 model
24 years old,
2 years NCB,
Garaged at postcode G63.

£1200 fully comp with Admiral.

Adding my mum, dad and sister brought it down £200.
