Default Insurance - club together?

Anyone got any idea how we could/if we should negotiate preferential insurance for S2ki members?

Last car was a TVR and through the TVR car club there was a special scheme with very preferential rates - I paid

IIRC the Honda-Revolutions club has done just that, although I'm not sure whether it has resulted in cheaper insurance for members. I've heard that the main beneficiary is a more grown up attitude towards mods and trackdays. A few members of this board are members of the Honda-R board too - perhaps they can provide their experience.

I'm a member of Honda-R. but the quote I got from their scheme was alot more (

I think the Honda R system is supposed to get cheaper as more people sign up. I phoned and had a quote which was nearly

I am with Norwich Union Direct as they where the only ones to give a remotely sane quote... Mind you my Post Code is a particularly bad one....

IIRC Tesco covers track days too as standard, at least thats what the guy told me, they just need informing.

Nice idea though - dont know if it is possible etc.

Anyone know who Honda-R went with?
If we could approach one of the cheaper companies, and explained our desire for mods and trackdays, they may give us a competitive quote.
