An insult to Boxster Drivers....I'm being serious by the way
check this out

In particular:-
I'm not being funny but who the f*ck would compare a Z4 with a Boxster? I know there's a bit of friendly needle between s2ki and Boxa.net but really a Z4 is not in the same league as either the S2000 or the Boxster
Thank goodness the S2000 wasn't mentioned as a comparitive car

In particular:-
BMW knows that the Z4 has a fight on its hands. This is a market in which high-quality cars abound. The two most obvious rivals are the Porsche Boxster and the Audi TT Roadster. The Z4 should prove itself more than a match.

The Z4 is pitched precisely at the kind of person who might buy a Boxster - someone who like the prestige of the marque and for whom the driving experience may (or may not) be secondary to the image that goes with it.
Because the Honda marque doesn't really have that cachet, the S2000 tends to attract a higher proportion of people who appreciate the car rather than the badge on the front.
FWIW, I reckon the 3.0 Z4 will give both the S and the Boxster a run for their money.
(STILL can't stand the styling though - but that's just personal choice. I think a lot of others will probably disagree with me and rush to buy the Z4).

I was fortunate to be allowed a test drive in a 3ltr. Z4 by the sales manager who really wanted to let me see what the car could do. He drove it 1st and then let me loose. I did not spare the horses! The Z4 really is a very, very nice car indeed to drive - power delivery and balance are both excellent. It is not as raw as an S2000 and of course the looks are controversial, but it is, IMHO, a proper, serious competitor to the S and Boxster.
But at the end of the day, it is a BMW, with all the baggage that badge carries.........

I have driven a Z4 and it is easily comparable to a Boxster so Zero to 60, I guess you have driven one to and know what you are talking about?
or are you just being opinionated without being able to substantiate your claim?
