Just a point for those who may have had engines and or gearboxes replaced under warranty, they may have altered your suspension set-up whilst carrying out this work.
I only found this out when I took my car back to Center Gravity, only for Chris to be completely confused by the set-up when he did his first check. It was not until we looked underneath and found that a lot of the suspension bolts had been reconnected differently from last years markings and that the sub-frame was in a slightly different position.
Eventually Chris got it back to my settings and re-marked the bolts. The settings that Honda used 'may' have been within their tolerances but according to Chris were all over the place. I had not noticed any problems as I have been "driving Miss Daisy" while running it back in!

Funny you should mention that Al as I've got mine booked in tomorrow for a four wheel laser alignment as it felt weird this week and not just due to the temperature drop. It didn't feel planted enough to the road. Mind you the amount of blooming pot holes could have knocked everything out of place.

As a new member who is yet to buy the car, is this only '09 cars? There are a lot of pages to digest in this thread, it would take an age to get through them all. I am looking at the possibility of an 08 or 09 model, Thanks

It affects 08 and 09 cars. I also know a few people who have had this sorted (seemingly) by Honda.
If you are buying a newer car, then take out a Honda Extended Warranty, which can cost as little as £250 per year, and includes full European Breakdown Cover (which'll cost you well over £100 on its own).

If you're about to spend several thousand on a car, i'd take a read It's sort if like if you can't be arsed to read it, others won't be arsed to summarise it for you

Yep - it's a couple of hours reading at the most. If i was spending up to £18k on a new car then i'd consider that time well spent.

When you both put it like that, it's worth a look. I know that sometimes long threads can get bogged down with irrelevent stuff but it seems that you are saying that the majority/all of what's in there is relevent so I'll have a read when I have the time. I'm not in any rush to buy the car as such, would've been nice to have it before Oulton park with it being local but I don't know how likely that'll be.
Watched a few of the videos of Spa, Donington and the Nurburgring which have whet my appetite for the car.
Thanks for the advice.
