UPDATE
Honda have tested the car again for the 'engine noise', compared it against another S2000 and have agreed to replace the bottom end of the engine!
That means apart from the top end, the whole of the engine and transmission will have been changed.
Hopefully will collect the car tomorrow to use for the weekend, then back to the dealers for the engine work later.
I only took it in for a service!!!

I don’t want to put a negative spin on this but can I suggest you put some miles on the new engine and then post an update

If I upgrade my as yet perfect 5000 mile 09 engine with new bearings/thrust washers and whatever else it needs does anybody want to buy it?Sorry Mods this isnt a for sale thread,just wondering weather to sell on here or the well known auction site
