Default Important Clutch Operation Question, AP1 and AP2 Different

Does anyone know if the AP1 and AP2 use different clutch operation systems?

ie does one model have a pull type system and the other a push type system?

Any information would be greatly appreciated!

The only difference between the pre 04 models and 04+ is that the 04+ have a clutch delay valve which the 00-03 models don't have

Sorted thanks guys, was sent the wrong bearing, a push one instead of pull, so was never going to work!

Engine will be in imminently

Yes you guessed it almost. Reason for asking this question was because we were having problems getting the clutch release bearing to marry up with the clutch and were convinced it should be a pull not push system. Turns out we had been supplied the wrong bearing which was a push one. A quick call to Hendy Performance, and yesterday the correct bearing arrived in record quick time. Engine will FINALLY be in the car next week, then its time for some serious work to start on it!
