My key fob wont disable the immobiliser, can someone pm me details of how to overide the immobiliser with the key, i need to get home, I have a hot date

Fried Hamilton Palmer alarm, happened to me, was off the road for a week, get a cab for your date.

battery seemed to be flat on the keyfob, so i changed the battery and still no joy, the led lights up when you press the button but it doesnt operate anything, so as soon as i open the door the alarm goes off and i cant do anything.

Surely there has to be a way of overriding this with the key?

There was no way to override it in my case, I had to get a new alarm!

Try re-programming the key fob, there is instructions on here somewhere, I saw them the other day.

Its something like turning ignition on and off three times, then pressing key fob button to program it.

I'll do some digging to try and find it.
