You'll never get 24" wheels on a Fiesta

[QUOTE=Ryn,Jul 16 2004, 02:20 PM] My mate's bird has just been given a brand new Volvo S40 diesel and he reckons it's the best thing since canned beer. But then he does drive a Ford Fucus.

The beater is an interesting idea and one that I have certainly looked into, however I just bought a pushbike instead to going back and forward to work on:

I bet you can do the journey with your eyes closed too

ala bisto kid, follow the smell

I go past your house twice a day and still haven't seen you in the car

That's because I don't drive it I ride the bike instead

My S was an ex fleet car that has covered 32k miles in one year and I bought it cheap knowing I wouldn't put any miles on it, by the time I want to sell it it will be market value again.

So the beater option for me is not worth it IMO because I don't put any miles on the S anyway.

And Matt yes I do do it with my eyes closed - usually on a Saturday morning after a night shift.
