Idle control sensor
Had a problem with the car, engine light came on and it was hunting. Had it checked out and the fault code says it is the idle control sensor on the side of the throttle body. Honda says there is a wait time of 4-5 weeks forthis part (part # 16400PCX003) I know its highly unlikely, but does nayone know a quick fix, or have one of these lying around to sell?

Did you then reset the ECU and see how it behaved? Its rare these fail.
It wont harm the car driving it like this.
PS - the ISCV isnt on the throttle body. The MAP sensor is on the top, an the TPS (throttle pos sensor) is on the left hand side as you look at it.
ISCV is further back in the intake manifold, on the same side as the throttle cable.

This used to be a major problem on Vauxhall GM c20XE engines, the above cured it for many months.
