They do make a difference to the sound in that you can hear more with the roof down.

If you want to improve the sound imaging then money would be better spent on a set of components and a decent HU

Hoping to get a Alpine CDA9886R, but will those speakers I showed you above fit in the hole available in the door???

Pretty sure those speakers will fit with a spacer and/or basket removal.

In all your excitement, don't forget the connecting wire between the head unit and built-in dashboard buttons!

Haven't forgotten the adapter!!! lol

When connecting the speakers, what happens to he original wires for the speakers? Which ones go into the crossover?

The ones from the midrange unit go to the crossover input

ok so I presume the tweeter wires are just left and maybe tied up out the way to stop hem from rattling?

Also where can I find a wiring adapter for the speakers, as I don't want to cut the wires if I can help it at all?

You can get them as an Autoleads accessory but i can't rememher the part number offhand.

It's a generic Honda converter, they all use the same plugs to the main speakers. Tweeters come completely out complete with wires - what remains can be tucked away.
