Common scam. I got similar e-mails when i was selling my scooter couple of months ago here in Greece. They offer to pay you with paypal and they will send a lorry to pick up what you are selling. Then later they open a case with paypal and deny everything

i had a similar issue when searching the web for my s2000.
found one 2004, 29k FSH, mot's and everything. £4000. emailed the guy and he said he was away on the oil rigs in the North Sea until october. he would like to use an escrow company to sort the deal.
he was very slow at replying to my emails.
i said that if we were to go ahead then i would be the one who chooses what escrow company we used.
he then never ever replied!

In fairness when they are priced that cheap it is so obvious that its a scam that i wouldn't even bother calling up. £500-1000 cheaper for a quick sale may be realistic but an 04 plate with low miles for £4k Alarm bells ring immediately
