I can't help thinking it would have been a lot easier to burgle/rob/drug deal to raise the cash to buy one from an audi dealer - or just load a motorbike into a van. I suppose we are talking about scum with no brain cells to rub together though .

That kind of activity isn't subtle though - it requires time, somewhere where the noise won't be noticed, seclusion etc etc

Presume they nicked the fuel cap so they can get a key cut from it and come back and nick the car?
