Chatham St is now a drag strip - shame they tore down the public gallery!!

I destroyed a Fiesta this afternoon - but then again I was in the 206!

6500RPM launch? Havent tried that, but knowing the S's clutch, im not sure how many you'd get away with.
You literally rev it to 6500RPM and drop the clutch?

Thats it.

The 0-100 vid in my sig shows it (although not very clearly).

Do it right, and there shouldn't be any problems with the clucth.

I'd never do a launch in VTEC, but always just under, say 4500 to 5000RPM. I've out launched a Scooby so I'd say it's a decent enough way to launch. (Although he did kill me once he got moving!)

IMO the clutch will be fine. I was still on the original one at 90,000miles and mine had had a tough life!

You only need about 4000rpm on a damp day to get the rears spinning and a little back out action at T-junctions...
