Well, maybe not that ashamed
Those who were at JAE will be familiar with the groundbreaking concept of a Micra with a performance exhaust or induction on it...there was one following me back from the gym just now who kept backing off then accelerating to get some rumbling noises coming from the car.
Chatham Street for those who know Reading, from the swimming pool end :
The road becomes a dual carriageway after a small roundabout and with a convenient pelican crossing at the beginning of it that handily just turned red. So he pulls up next to me and starts to rev and roll I wasn't sure if he was serious so I raised my eyebrow, Roger Moore stylee and he responds with ever more aggressive revving. I can't resist...
I dumped at 6500 That's the first time I've ever spun the wheels (albeit about half a revolution) but when they gripped, jesus did it throw me forward. I was half expecting him to have something silly under the bonnet and be keeping up but I never saw him again so I guess I'll never know
