I JUST PRANGED MY BACK END!
Just started to reverse the S out of the drive this morning, checked the rear window - clear.
Unfortunately my wonderful girlfriend decided to park her Ka on the road in front of the house but not quite clearing the driveway.
Luckily I was hardly moving - my rightside rear lower quarter nudged her plastic bumper. Miraculously there was no scuff marks on either cars. However as I probably kept trying to reverse for a second before I realised we had nudged bumpers when I got out I saw to my horror that entire panel seemed to have "popped out a bit".
I tapped it all back in, give it a pull at the back so it sits flush with the lights etc so now it all looks okay. I am completely clueless as to how the panels are secured to the car so my question is : Should I take it for a check-up in case I've snapped some bolts/rivets whatever internally? Or am I worrying about nothing?
I also need a bag of lime and a shovel if anyone's got one!

Course I am, otherwise it'd have to be me!
Still it appears that love is blind or blinding me to using the side-mirror in any case.
Why did the silly cow have to leave her back-end obsuring the drive though?

My girlfriend did the same at first with her Freelander..... imagine reversing into the front of that !!!!
I now tell her to park with at least a 1.5m clearance from the end of the drive

When I read the thread title I thought you'd been injured doing a spot of brown hatting!
And no her rear isn't that large either!
For those precious few who showed some actual concern for my car I think its ok now - noticed that the screw at back of wheel arch had come out of the hole so the panel was flaring at bottom. Also there was another one at the top of the arch that was jarred so once it was tightened too the whole thing looks like it should... I think.
