Make sure the Ss on the wheels are all correctly aligned. At all times. Most uncool to be seen in the car with an S on one wheel upside down.

I believe acura was honda's attempt at creating a sub brand that would achieve greater appeal, in a premium position, in the US.
Yep, the US got acura NSX's, and also honda NSXs I think, even though they're built in japan.

However, It appears that Honda are now running down the acura brand, and are investing in the honda brand in the US. which is probably why a premium car like the S is a great way to build honda brand strength and credibility.

also, having sub-brands is incredibly costly, hence Cif.

I did read that they only make 12,000 S2000 a year and about half automatically go to the US market. Honda probably make about that number of CIVIC's a week!!!!
