Default I got whooped...

... good and proper but it was soooo much fun

Taking a drive in the A46 today, an SL55 pulls out of a junction behind me and sits back about 100-200 yards, I oevertake a car in front and he follows, we are doing 75-85 (km/h of course), he is still the same distance back, and I go to overtake another car, I give it max VTEC in 3rd and while I am overtaking I notice his car squat and then begin to rocket towards mine. As I go past the car, there is nothing coming (straight road for about 2 miles) and there is another car to overtake, but the SL55 is closing in on me at starship enterprise speed, I pull back in giving it max in 4th without slowing and he flies past me as if I am standing , that thing has got some serious grunt!

I was very impressed. There is a huge difference in grunt between the SL55 AMG and the SL500. He gave me a wave, but not sure if it was sarcastic or friendly

Star Trek huh?

I wonder who has the highest warp factor.....that SL or the M3 driver who went past me approaching light speed tonight........Nutter!!

Why can't these things happen to me on dry roads in 20mph-70mph situations!!
Then we would have FUN!!!

(I never break the speed limit you see........ )

Sometimes being slaughtered is good fun - I decided to take on a Mucielago last year - the result was never in doubt, but it was bloody magic!!!!
