Default I feel a change in the air

Well having had the S and loved it to bits for a whole two weeks, i feel a change is in order .......

No I haven't gone mad and sold it already I just want to change the appearance, so a removeal of the windsheld tape is in order

So is it just a case of warm tape with hairdryer and pull or is it a bit more delicate

I fancy doing this in about 10 minutes time (while i still have this warm fussy glow ) so any prompt replies would be greatly appreciated

Cheers gents

Pie

Be very careful. Try a small bit first. I've heard stories of the colour underneath not being the same colour as the rest of the car.

I doubt that will be the case on Pie's car though Ade, being the former Tif Mobile The paintwork is near perfect i reckon

As I understand it, it's not so much that the paintwork won't be the same, P'n'C, just that there's a possibility that it might not be up to quite the same high standard as everywhere else - little chips and imperfections. A lot of people have done it and been very happy with the result - I for one think the car looks much better sans tape.

10 mins with a bit of polish when you've done it (or T-Cut or ScratchX, worse case scenario) and I'm sure it will be top banana

ooohh, I'm tempted again. I know it will look a LOT better without the tape, but there is that small risk that it will look like Roadie's wheel arches
